Building components and systems

Previously known as the “Archive of building materials”, the technical lab has been active in the university since 1991 collecting, processing and offering information on variously complex building products. Systems, components and materials are catalogued by production and commodity sector, and identified as possible solutions for determining technical elements in the technological system of the building.

The lab files both paper and computerized documents. It is endowed with the technical regulations for materials, products and areas of work, and possesses samples of a vast range of products available on the market.

The user will also find competent support in order to make informed choices during the designing stage, identifying suitable products for the specific solution, in compliance with the essential requirements that each building and every single technical element must meet.

The collection includes around 5,000 documents.
