OUTGOING STUDENTS

Outgoing students are those selected to take part in one of the following exchange programs:

Erasmus Program
The Erasmus program was started in 1987 by the European Union and sanctions the possibility for European university students to undertake a period of study in a university in another country of the Union, that may last up to 2 semesters and is legally recognised by their own university. The scholarship consists of a monthly sum of money and free enrolment in the hosting university. In this way the student can take exams in the host university and have them acknowledged by the university in their own country.

Bilateral exchanges
The Design School has also activated bilateral agreements with universities outside the European Union. These institutions are primarily intended for students on the Master degree program and may also be requested by those who have already spent a period abroad with Erasmus during their three year Bachelor program. The regulations for participation in these exchanges are the same as those for Erasmus, with the exception of the scholarship which is only available at the discretion of the University. Bilateral agreements enable students to study for a period abroad with a partner university without having to pay their enrolment fees.
