Le tesi rientrano nel progetto di ricerca omonimo selezionato con un finanziamento ai POLISOCIAL Award 2014 http://www.sostieni.polimi.it/dona5x1000.php
Il progetto favorirà la realizzazione di servizi innovativi per due categorie di utenza debole, i NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) e gli Over75 con l’obiettivo di acquisizione di competenze e di restituire/consolidare un ruolo sociale attivo, ma anche con la possibilità di interagire con altri gruppi di utenza. Le azioni previste avranno delle ricadute sul territorio di Zona 9 nel Comune di Milano dopo un periodo di incubazione nel campus Bovisa Durando. Il progetto svilupperà: 1) Gli orti condivisi: definizione di linee guida per l’insediamento di orti condivisi (kit per contenitori per la coltivazione, disposizione spaziale degli artefatti, dimensionamenti, regole, funzionamento, gestione); 2) Brevi format per il web. La Social TV di quartiere. In collaborazione con le associazioni di quartiere e i cittadini di Zona 9 e distribuito da Plug Social TV; 3) Messa in scena di pratiche sociali. Realizzazione di un “Padiglione Adattabile Autogestito Itinerante” (PAAI) per azioni di cultura/teatro/sport all’interno del Campus Durando Bovisa e all’esterno, nel quartiere. 4) Modelli di sostenibilità economica per queste e altre iniziative e progetti di innovazione sociale.
Le tesi di Design degli interni saranno focalizzate sull’azione 1 riguardante gli orti urbani e sull’azione 2 sullo sviluppo di format scenografici per la social TV Le tesi di Product service system potranno individuare delle soluzioni di sistema per tutto il progetto oppure di supporto ad una delle azioni

The project will support the implementation of innovative services for two weak categories of users: the NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) and Over75 with the aim of acquiring skills and to return / consolidate an active social role, but also with the opportunity to interact with other user groups. The results will have the impact on the area of Zone 9 in the Municipality of Milan after an incubation period in Bovisa Durando campus. The project will develop: 1) Community gardens: definition of guidelines for the establishment of community gardens (kit for garden beds, spatial arrangement of artifacts, rules, management); 2) Short format for the web. Social TV of the neighborhood. In collaboration with neighborhood associations and citizens of Zone 9 and distributed by PLUG Social TV; 3) Staging of social practices. Implementation of a “Adaptable Pavilion Self managed Itinerant” (PAAI) for culture / theater / sports in both the Bovisa Durando Campus and the neighborhood. 4) Models of economic sustainability for these and other initiatives and social innovation projects. The Interior Design thesis will focus on urban gardens (action 1) and on the set-design for social TV (action 2). The Product service system design thesis can identify system solutions for the entire project or dealing woth one of the actions.
