The Ecole Supérieure d’Art et Design de Saint-Etienne (ESADSE) and the Cité du design , grouped together in the same structure since 2005, are preparing the next edition of Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Etienne .
The Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Etienne was created in 1998 by our School and is produced by the Cité du design since 2006 with the support of public and private sector.

In 2015 the biennial will be held from 12 march till 12 april 2015 and will question “the meanings of beauty”.

At the heart of the event, Ecole Supérieure d’Art et Design de Saint-Etienne (Esadse) always proposed several exhibitions. In 2013 the Dream Team, curated by Alexandra Midal, presented 23 young designers from 5 European schools.

For 2015 Esadse is preparing a new major exhibition created from a selection of works carried out by students graduated from design departments of European Schools. To propose an innovative point of view on “the meanings of beauty”, we invite Sam Baron to be the curator. He is a designer, graduated in 1999 from our school, working nowadays as a creative director of the design area of Fabrica . He will select about10 ten schools to build on 600 m2 an important exhibition in the heart of the Biennial
