the appointment with the Thematic Seminars organized by the Design Doctoral School of Politecnico di Milano is renewed. Topic of the year will be “Politically designed – Conversations about political aspects in Design Research”.
The PhD students of the XXVIII cycle will present their reflections on the political dimension of design research in a context of society, ideology and strategy. The theme will be explored and discussed within four tracks. In particular, the seminar will face the following approaches:
Individual VS Collectivity
Top-Down VS Bottom-Up
Standardization VS Unique
Interpretation VS Transformation
The appointment is for July 14th from 2 to 6pm at EXPO Gate, Via Beltrami – Piazza Castello, Milan.
The seminars are open to students, researchers, academics and professionals and will involve also external discussants in order to stimulate a debate on the issues highlighted.
