In the next month of September will be held in Belgrade the 6th International Workshop of Landscape Design organized by Politecnico di Milano, School of Architecture and the School of Design, in cooperation with Megatrend University “Dzon Nezbit” of Belgrade and with the participation of the Faculty of Architecture , University of Belgrade, Belgrade Union University and KEA Copenhagen.

The workshop participants will face the challenge of creating innovative solutions to some of the public spaces of Belgrade, including design themes of urban design, landscape architecture, design, to redevelop areas that the city center will expand on the Danube. Water and public spaces.

The Workshop includes the presence of interdisciplinary professionals and teachers with whom students will dialogue critically to identify problems and objectives.

24 students of Politecnico di Milano can partecipate in the workshop.

Can apply to the workshop all students enrolled in:
• The third year of the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science at the School of Architecture.
• Master of Science in in Interior Design
• Master of Science in Product Service System Design
• Master of Science in Yacht & Cruising Vessel Design

L’Agenzia Spaziale Europea (ESA) ha invitato la Scuola del Design del Politecnico di Milano a progettare una collezione di abiti con materiali e tecnologie innovative derivanti dalla ricerca spaziale che sarà presentata durante un evento speciale il 25 maggio a Londra al Museo della Scienza. Il progetto è stato sviluppato dalla prof.ssa Annalisa Dominoni insieme ai suoi studenti durante il Master in Fashion Design ed è continuato come attività di ricerca grazie al supporto di ESA Technology Transfer Program (TTP) insieme ai suoi sponsors tecnici, D’Appolonia ed Extreme Materials per l’integrazione di materiali e tecnologie nei capi.

June 19th to 25th in Milan, Italy at the World Expo site

The Expo as Global Village: Future Ways of Living event will explore how new media technologies will impact our daily lives and how they will transform societal systems over the next 10 years. This will be done using the Milan Expo grounds as a case study for imagining how these transformations will manifest. This event will be organized by the Institute without Boundaries (IwB), a Toronto-based academic program, think tank, and studio that offers unique educational experiences and professional services.

Hosted by the Institute without Boundaries, this intensive charrette will engage over 60 participants from various academic and professional backgrounds to co-develop, envision and design how technologies can change our lives over the next ten years using the Milan Expo fairgrounds as a laboratory where those visions can be realized. Expert industry advisors will be brought in to review the work of teams with feedback informed by their practical expertise. A digital publication and trailer for a documentary film will be completed and showcased at the closing event.

Following the charrette, core participants from each team will work to create a publication that captures the content and core ideas from the charrette process. An exhibition for the Triennale will also be left behind showcasing the work completed during the charrette.

Summer Schools

Annually, the IDEA League organizes five Summer Schools at five different locations. These schools offer the students of the network the unique opportunity to develop new insights into current research, and to enhance their skills and academic excellence.

There are no tuition fees to be paid to register for IDEA League Summer Schools. Moreover, board and lodging is offered to the participants by the host institution. The participants have instead to cover their own travel costs.

Nel prossimo mese di luglio si terrà a Belgrado il sesto workshop internazionale di progettazione organizzato da Politecnico di Milano, Scuola di Architettura Civile e Scuola di Design, in collaborazione con Megatrend University di Belgrado e con la partecipazione di University of Belgrade, Union University e KEA di Copenhagen.

Il workshop porrà ai suoi partecipanti la sfida di creare le soluzioni innovative per la fruibilità di alcuni spazi pubblici di Belgrado.

Il workshop ha come  tema la progettazione urbanistica-paesaggistica-architettura-design per rendere animati, vissuti aree che dal centro della città si espandono nella periferia.

Caratteristica della proposta è di coinvolgere professionisti e docenti interdisciplinari  con i quali gli studenti dialogano, in un primo tempo, per  individuare problemi e obiettivi e, successivamente, per proseguire  il costante confronto e la verifica del progetto svolto.

Parteciperanno 24 studenti del Politecnico di Milano e possono candidarsi al workshop gli studenti di LM in Interior Design e Product Service System Design della Scuola di Design.

Il Politecnico di Milano offre la possibilità di partecipare ad un SUMMER WORKSHOP in Belgio presso l’Università di Hasselt.

Il Workshop si terrà dal 23 AGOSTO al 2 SETTEMBRE, 2016.

L’università di Hasselt mette a disposizione 4 scholarships per coprire le spese relative ai trasporti, fino ad un massimo di 200€ (per ogni studente) ed offre agli studenti alloggi in residenze, due escursioni e una cena.

Verranno selezionati 4 studenti interessanti al tema “THE STORE OF THE FUTURE” e intenzionati ad approfondire la loro conoscenza riguardo al Retail design.
